The Woodruff Fire Department has recently acquired a former Fire Engine of this department through a donation. Mr. Tommy Turner donated the 1956 Fire Engine back to the department with the understanding we would restore it and utilize it for parades, fire prevention, and children's events. Over the next several months the department will be working on this project in their spare time. This project will not be funded through taxes, but donations. If you wish to make a donation to this cause please contact the fire department and ask for Chief Steve Quinn. Below is a photo of the engine when it was still in service.
